From the Philippines to the World: Breaking Into International Publishing
Speakers: Gail Villanueva, Kate Evangelista, Dawn Lanuza, Francis Martelino, JM Cabral, and Tarie Sabido
Learn how Filipinos can break into the international publishing industry through these 6 panelists, who will share their own publishing and professional journeys.
Organized by the Overseas Publishers’ Representatives Association of the Philippines (OPRAP), in collaboration with the Book Development Association of the Philippines (BDAP), and held during the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF), this panel discussion aims to help Filipino writers and creators understand the paths and means towards international publication. The panel will give attendees first-hand information from Filipino authors/illustrators who have made it internationally, as well as allow them a chance to connect with individuals who have worked or currently work with foreign publishers.
For info and updates, visit the From the Philippines to the World: Breaking Into International Publishing event page on Facebook.
