Anddddd….. The new theme goes live!

Look at that, Mister Kapre! Our little nook on the Web has a nifty new theme. I’m still ironing out some kinks in the landscape iPad version — argh, the Twitter widget just won’t play nice with my code — and some pages are still under construction, but the blog is almost ready. We can chat here now for the world to see.

If you will read my Hello, World! post, I meant to launch the new design last February. But March went by with the world seeing only a boring hold page. And yet, here it is. It’s been reborn!

Like Easter!

The Easter Bunny approves

I hope you guys will join me and Mister Kapre in our dialogues as we try to understand the mysteries of the Universe. We promise to make it a fun ride, so do check in here every now and then! And while you’re at it, please like my page on Facebook, follow me on Twitter, and check out my photos on Instagram 🙂

Gail on Instagram!

  • I had this today. It's gorgeous, isn't it? 😍😍😍
  • Stuck at home nursing a cold. Saw this in my camera roll, a sunset pic from the car on the way home from Antipolo. 🌴🌞🌴
  • This space on my side of the bed had been empty since the day my dog Kubrick passed away more than a year ago. Somebody thinks he's worth Kubrick's spot now! It wasn't the specie I expected, but he'll do 😄😘💕🐣💩
  • My "lap duck" Sundae! He loves staying on my lap while I work 😘 #duckies #petduck #ducksofinstagram #duckstagram
  • My late lunch smells like pork binagoongan, looks like pork binagoongan, tastes like pork binagoongan, but it's NOT pork binagoongan! Trust me, that makes so much sense when you're using VegPata as "pork." 😀
  • Good bye, beautiful Omelette. We love you. Fly free.
  • Celebrating my dad's 60th with a buffet! 😄
  • End-of-Monday snack: doughnuts and mushroom cracklings! We try to be healthy, but you know... Doughnuts! 😂😂😂
  • Guess the awesome artist with me in this pic, @erinentrada 😄 #phchildrensbooksummit
  • I learned how to properly bind books and periodicals today, thanks to the the kind & patient folks of the National Library of the Philippines 😄 #phchildrensbooksummit
  • #pitchwars #pwsummersplash Day 9: #writingcompanion Super busy, but can't resist this one! 😂 Sundae is my writing companion. He (little duckling is showing more and more signs that he's a boy!) usually just sleeps beside my hand, but there are times he feels like he can do better and writes for me by pecking or stepping on my keyboard 😂
  • #pitchwars #pwsummersplash Day 4: 1st line from my MS. Well, this used to be my book's first line. It's now worded differently, but the essence remains the same. I'm a bit attached to this line so I'm posting it instead. After all, you need to do what you have to do for the betterment of your story, even if it means having to let go of fave first lines 😊
