Cover Reveal: Chameleon (The Domino Project #1)

Let’s do something different on the blog! I know I haven’t been blogging much, but life happened. Writing happened. I’m currently editing my first novel. There isn’t much to say about it until it’s actually published — or represented, for that matter — so I’ll keep mum about it for now. But if you’ve been following me on Twitter, you’ll have an idea what it is I’m working on πŸ™‚

Speaking of Twitter… One of the writerly folks I’ve met online is KT Hana, and she’s got a cover for her upcoming book for you to see! As a science fiction fan, I’m really looking forward to reading her story. Check it out, and join the raffle! πŸ™‚

————————————————

Chameleon (The Domino Project #1) is a YA futuristic science fiction story. It’s set in the wasteland of earth after a meteor shower devastates landmasses, makes seas rise, introduces the psionic gene into the human race, damages the atmosphere, and gives the gift of an alien parasite to the world.

The goodreads blurb is as follows:

After Sai’s newly awoken psionic power accidentally destroys her apartment complex, she’s thrown into an intensive training program. The only grades are pass or die.

Surviving means proving her continued existence isn’t a mistake–a task her new mentor, Bastian, takes personally. Her abilities place her in the GNW Enforcer division, which partners her with Domino 12, who is eerily human for an alien-parasite and psionic hybrid. When her assassination duties are revealed, Sai understands the real reason for her training.

On a mission to dispatch a dangerous Exiled scientist, she uncovers truths she never thought possible. Sai is unsure who to trust as her next mission might be her last, and a double agent seems to be manipulating both sides.

Without further ado – here is the cover, by the amazingly talented S.P. McConnell.

About the Author
KT Hanna has a love for words so extreme, a single word can spark entire worlds.

MeBorn in Australia, she met her husband in a computerΒ game, moved to the U.S.A. and went into culture shock. Bonus? Not as many creatures specifically out to kill you.

When she’s not writing, she freelance edits for Chimera Editing, interns for a NYC Agency, and chases her daughter, husband, corgi, and cat. No, she doesn’t sleep. She is entirely powered by the number 2, caffeine, and beef jerky.

Note: Still searching for her Tardis

  • #pitchwars #pwsummersplash Day 9: #writingcompanion Super busy, but can't resist this one! πŸ˜‚ Sundae is my writing companion. He (little duckling is showing more and more signs that he's a boy!) usually just sleeps beside my hand, but there are times he feels like he can do better and writes for me by pecking or stepping on my keyboard πŸ˜‚
  • #pitchwars #pwsummersplash Day 4: 1st line from my MS. Well, this used to be my book's first line. It's now worded differently, but the essence remains the same. I'm a bit attached to this line so I'm posting it instead. After all, you need to do what you have to do for the betterment of your story, even if it means having to let go of fave first lines 😊
